Legal Roles
Prior to joining McIntyre Szabo PC, Mahgol (she/her) obtained a range of experience in civil and administrative litigation including disputes dealing with commercial matters, health law, professional regulation, employment, estates and medical negligence actions.
Practice Areas
Mahgol represents and advises clients in the health care sector, including healthcare institutions, regulated health practitioners and other regulated professionals. She is building a broad-based health litigation practice at McIntyre Szabo PC including professional regulation, mental health hearings and appeals, physician privileging, human rights applications and inquests.
Courts & Tribunals
Mahgol has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. She has also appeared before various tribunals including the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal.
External Activities
Mahgol has been an active moot court judge and supporter of the United Way Greater Toronto campaign.

Mahgol is into matcha, cozy reads and pretending “just browsing” won’t turn into an online shopping spree.

Inquest into the Death of Heather Asheley Winterstein (2026, Coroner’s Inquest) – represented physicians as a party at the inquest.
Entaklei v. Gokhale (2026, HPARB) – successfully defended a physician in an appeal of an ICRC decision to take no further action.
Burechails v. Hussain (2026, HPARB) – successfully defended a physician in an appeal of an ICRC decision issuing advice.
Devarajah v. Abramovitch (2025, HPARB) – successfully defended a physician in an appeal of an ICRC to take no further action.
N.H. v. Gerber (2025, HPARB) – successfully defended a physician in an appeal of the ICRC decision issuing advice and expectations.
